- Plan and prepare for work
- Work requirements are correctly identified from drawings, specifications and instructions
- Quality assurance requirements are recognised and adhered to in accordance with enterprise operation
- Work health and safety (WHS) requirements, including personal protection needs, are observed throughout the work
- Tools, equipment and materials selected are consistent with job requirements and work instructions, checked for safety and serviceability, and any faults reported to supervisor
- Dismantle furniture and/or fitting item
- Items to be dismantled are identified
- Items are dismantled to the extent required in the work instructions using appropriate tools and procedures
- Fasteners and attachments are removed, tagged and stored
- Component parts are separated, tagged and stored following workplace procedures
- Component parts are despatched to the next process according to workplace procedures
- Re-assemble furniture and/or fitting item
- Items to be re-assembled are identified
- Items are re-assembled to the extent required in the work instructions using appropriate tools and procedures
- Fasteners and attachments selected and used according to workplace procedures
- Assembled item is despatched to the next process according to workplace procedures
- Clean work area maintain equipment and complete operations
